With the continuous development of communication technology and Internet network, the concept of "smart city" is in the promotion of the continuous. How smart, efficient, energy-saving, visualization of urban management of the work become each big electron business and related research institutions compete to launch the project. The subject from reality, based on demand management in the municipal sector, developed an energy-efficient, intelligent management, multi-level control of lighting management systems.This article takes a district of Hefei city lighting engineering as study background and study the city road lighting management system. The system uses a mix of B/S and C/S mode and takes the SQL Server2008 database as the core, through powerful real-time electronic ballast lamp operation data, using regional management device (gateway) on the single lamp read polling data collected, processed and judgment operation; The gateway device based on STM32 control chip development, can automatically control the operation of street lamp according to the strategy, effectively will street lamp switch operation data through the ZigBee network transfer to GPRS network, to realize the remote transmission of data; Used the multi-thread technology to solve the multi-gateway concurrent connection and the network time delay question, which enable the system become more smoothly when handle multiple client requests and multi-gateway concurrent uploading data; Used "bulk load point technologies" to solve the fundamental deficiencies of "bulk load graphics" load slowly; Using the control method of "lamp attribute" realizes seven scope hierarchical controls to the street light. This system construct based on ZigBee network, the GPRS network and the Internet correspondence model, can support ten thousand level street lights the correspondence pressure, highly effective completion to street light performance data long-distance real-time transmission. Designed "gateway-Street" closed-loop system, can complete a potential fault diagnosis, problem anticipation and self-regulation functions.According to the requirements of the municipal management personnel, the system can realize visual management, the energy saving strategy operation, any time dimming, abnormal alarm, power statistics, report output and other functions. Through analyzing the operation data in binhu district of hefei city:The lighting energy saving efficiency up to 21.44%, the control response time of 1 s. At the same time, the system can finish thousands of lights in 3 s level of street lamp loading, meet the demands of monitoring system reliability.
