Research On An Intelligent Lighting Control System Of LED Street Lamp On Based ZigBee And GPRS Technology

With the rapid development of our society,the issues of emergy saving andenvironmental protection have been paid highly attention in resent years.Studies havefound that20%of total electricity would be used for city lighting street lamps.Peoplehave started to seek more scientific ways to manage and control street lamps.According to the demand of application, the total solution of the LED steet lampintelligent lighting control system based on the ZigBee and GPRS technology isdesigned.This paper mainly studies on the aspects on the working principle of LED streetlamp,the characteristics and application of ZigBee technology,including networktopology,the structure of protocol stack and networking process,as well as the structureof GPRS network and its working principle as well as the ways to access network,allthese provide the necessary theoretical basis and knowledge guarantee for theapplication of Zigbee and GPRS technology in LED street lamp monitoring system.The main hardware circuit design in the system includeing: LED lamp drivingcircuit based on Jennic JN5139; the power supply module, voltage and currentmeasurement module, power module, a ZigBee power failure detection module, themain controller module based on GPRSdata transmission, GPRS network interface module,the main controller module ofnetwork coordinator, a radio communication module and power measurement module.In the aspect of software, according to the Jennic ZigBee protocol stack,theprocedures of the ZigBee terminal controller, ZigBee router and the networkcoordinator were writen. The design of the control center software frameworkincluding monitoring interface, database and communication processing,the databaseand the communication part are the key ones. The street lamp control system has a friendly machine interface,can realize thefunctions of remote control,long distance communication,remotemonitoring,automatic alarm and so on.
