With the rapid development of Internet technology and computer technology, as well as the improvement of people’s living environment, the public is an increasing demand for lighting system, the traditional lighting system due to high energy consumption, the function is unitary, the control mode is difficult to meet the demand of modern people and is very weak, so, in an efficient, comfortable, green, environmental protection, convenient and diverse as the main characteristics of the new lighting system is the development direction of the future. LED intelligent lighting system is adapt to the development trend of this new type of lighting technology, has the incomparable advantage and good application prospect.This paper discusses the Android-based ZigBee gateway and LED intelligent lighting control system. The system is a LED intelligent lighting control system through a combination of Android technology, ZigBee wireless technology and Android mobile devices. Building Android control system of LED intelligent lighting achieves to control the LED lamps.1. ZigBee network technology. ZigBee wireless communication networks work as a communication network for data transmission between LED lamps. Analyzing the principle of Z-stack and developing application layer based on ZigBee2007 protocol by using CC2530 wireless chip and Z-stack provided by TI Company. Through the PWM dimming way between each LED luminous flux to control the LED lamps on ZigBee node, which can be able to collect and transmit data of LED lamp.2. Android-based ZigBee gateway technology. The study further research the Android operating system, system migration, network and application programming. Android-based ZigBee gateway which uses ARM as micro controller has developed through system migration, the serial port, socket and multi-threaded programming. Therefore, ZigBee gateway achieves to communicate with ZigBee coordinator through the serial port, and also be able to communicate with PC and Android client control through the TCP/IP protocal. Therefore, the ZigBee gateway realizes the seamless data transmission between ZigBee network and the Internet.3. Android control system. The study developed Android control system software through exploring Android application technology, designing and researching the Android control system software solutions. The Android control system software which realizes humanity control managemental interface enable mobile users to control LED intelligent lighting systems. Verify the accuracy of Android system by adjusting the color temperature of LED lamps.
