Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a new business management mechanism based on "one-to-one customer relationship theory" which aims to improve the relationship between enterprises and their customers. As the whole economy is now characterized by web-based technology, scientific innovation and informational globalization, and therefore business management is no longer limited by region, thus making the market much more competitive than before. CRM establishes a rapid, accurate and smooth connection of information exchange between customers and companies. It is widely used in production marketing, customer service and technical issues.Based on characteristics and sales models of Shanghai Star House company, this paper makes a comprehensive study on CRM system, focusing on its technological researches and requirement analysis, and proposing the plan for conducting the system. The system is designed with Browser/Server model of the three-tier architecture. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is adopted as its background database, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 as developing tool, and C# is adopted as developing language and ASP.NET application technology as the efficient Internet database access. According to the CRM system function requirement analysis, the system is divided into five functional modules, they are respectively sales management module, customer management module, service management module, the basic data module and statistics module. The test shows that CRM system can successfully run on Windows XP operating system.The development and implement of CRM system can help Shanghai Star House company to deal with basic sales operations and data analysis, so that work accomplished manually will be replaced by computer. CRM system makes an effective integration of enterprise resources, and it simplifies work processes, reduces the error rate, also streamlines staff team to develop a company's business values and promotes its competitiveness.
