A Study On Literature Acquisition Behavior Of College Students Based On Digital Resources

With the further development of information age and the coming of large data, information has become more and more important. College students are the first to experience the internet information age and they depend on obtaining documents, materials and information that relevant to their disciplines and major from the Internet. However, increasing in category of search engine, extension and changes of its function, propulsion of the digital process in university library and continuing to invest in construction of digital resources platform and database, make literature information search environment of college students rapidly changing, and their document acquisition behavior presenting many new features. On the other hand, about how to increasing the utilization ratio of digital resource in higher college library that invest a lot of money to construct, and making full use of electronic document repository in higher college library has beco me an important issue that higher college face today and the hot issues that books and information group concern. Therefore, this article attempts to research on document acquisition behavior of college students in digital resource environment, to understand and grasp the characteristics and rules of college students' literature and information acquisition behavior, and to put forward reasonable proposals about colleges and universities how to convert teaching ideas,so that students can be guided to understand various information resources correct, enhance their awareness of information and information capabilities and improve their information literacy. Finally, students can gain useful information quickly accurately and completely in the information repository, and the utilization of digital library resources can be improved. This study also aim at providing reference for the construction of digital library resources and the expansion of service functions of library.By collecting, analyzing and studying a large number of domestic and foreign literature related to the research, absorbing and learning the principle of least effort and theory of information awareness and information that scholars proposed in representative works, and combining theoretical research results of Wilson information behavior models, a questionnaire survey was conducted among college students and some of them was interviewed with. The questionnaire survey and interview are mainly from three aspects such as basic on- line behaviors of students, information awareness and literature to obtain, and then use the chart analysis, ANOVA and correlation analysis to analyze the data collecting by questionnaire and interview systematically and comprehensively. The analysis include analyzing basic network behavior of college students, analyzing the basic situation of information awareness, analyzing information acquisition behavior of using literature search engines and online databases, analyzing the correlation of information awareness and information acquisition behavior. O n the basis of processing and analyzing the survey data, characteristics and laws of college students' literature obtaining behavior were discussed, and relevant conclusions were drawn: college students highly depend on network resources; the space consistency of t heir information acquisition behavior is more prominent; they get literature mostly tend to use simple and easy way; students from different grades stage and different professional disciplines of literature, and students of different sexes have significant differences in information acquisition behavior.Based on the understanding and understand of characteristics and laws of college students' information acquisition behavior, and closely combined with the current environment and realities, this paper put forward several improvement measures for the existing problems and shortcomings: First, colleges and universities should actively create favorable information environment; Second, the library strengthen training library student users; Third, colleges and universities actively carry out information literacy education; Fourth, the library can provide targeted document information service.
