Information literacy is one of the basic ability and quality of the talents intwenty-first Century. This paper mainly uses the method combines theoretical analysisand empirical research, to study the university students’ information literacy.1. Used self-designed College Students’ Information Literacy Questionnaire,selected414students from4universities in Heilongjiang Province as study objects,used SPSS21.0statistical software, studied the college student’s information literacy byExploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), educed three dimensions of the college students’Information Literacy: information ability, information consciousness, information, ideasand information ethics. The result:(1) college students’ information literacy showedsignificant differences in gender, grade, source place of students (hometown), whetherhas computer, and whether published articles;(2) some of the college students’information ability, information consciousness, information is not strong andinformation ethics is not on high level.2. Explored the relationship between information literacy and creativity, selected245students from4universities in Heilongjiang Province as the research object, usedStructural Equation Model(SEM) AMOS17.0,studied the relationship betweeninformation literacy and the creativity of college students, found they influences eachother significantly.3.Used self-designed College Students’ Information Literacy CultivationQuestionnaire,selected201students from universities as research objects, used EXCEL,analyzed the information literacy cultivation of college students, concluded: thecultivation of information literacy has not been attached great importance to the relevantgovernment departments in charge of universities, the library informatizationconstruction and multimedia teaching has not been paid enough attention, thecurriculum construction of information literacy cultivation was unsatisfied, university teachers’ information literacy was insufficient. According to the study of the problems,from the construction of digital campus, pay attention to the improvement of collegeteachers’ information literacy, information literacy curriculum reform, construction ofnew teaching mode, reform of information literacy curriculum contents5aspects putforward countermeasures and suggestions of improving college students’ informationliteracy.
