The Analysis Of Framework Of Special Reports For Police-involved Emergency Incidents

But in recent years, because of the reform of social transition, the decline of economic growth, the gap between the rich and the poor increases, a large number of social contradictions, fierce clashes have occurred. The police are responsible for the fight against crime, protecting people, maintaining social stability and national security. In some conflicts, police officers often place themselves in the front or center of the conflict because of the work responsibilities. For many years, the black sheep of the police damage the good images of policeman's service for people, causing bad stereotypes of people to policeman, making it very hard for policeman to get understanding and support from people. Therefore, once the incident occurred, as long as the police are involved, it often tends to form a negative public opinion.From the incidents in Gaozhou Guangdong, Bobai Guangxi, Qing'an Heilongjiang, incidents occurred one after another. You can feel the frequency of police-involved emergency incidents has increased in recent years. In the reports of the unexpected events, mainstream news website and the largest Chinese portal website are important bridges for information interaction between network media and traditional media news, which play important roles in complementary advantages and integration of information resources in both of depth and breadth of reports. They often set special reports to select the integration of emergency related information and news reports.After “Qing'an event” occurred, the mainstream news website the People's daily online and the portal Tencent gave the related news reports in the first time, and set special reports to pay continuous attention to the events of the follow-up development and information integration. So, in the reports of police-involved emergency incidents between the mainstream news websites and portals, are the models and the frameworks about the choice and construction of reports the same? If not, what are the differences?In this paper, we take the special reports about “Qing'an event” from the People's Daily Online and Tencent as examples, framework theory is used to compare the similarities and differences about the reports of this two websites between the choice and construction of police-involved emergency incidents, to explore the public opinion guidance status about the emergency incidents involving police.The People's Daily Online is a news website and it owns the right to interview. Tencent is a commercial web portal and it owns no right to interview. Therefore, the analysis of framework of special reports about “Qing'an event” from the People's Daily Online and Tencent is mostly based on the special reports about “Qing'an event” from the People's Daily Online and Tencent which have been published elsewhere. There are only 5 reports are reported by the People's Daily Online itself and the rest is reproduced; the reports about “Qing'an event” from Tencent are all reproduced.By the analysis of special reports about “Qing'an event” in Heilongjiang from the People's Daily Online and Tencent, we can find that the framework of special reports from the People's Daily Online and Tencent is constructed like this: The People's Daily Online takes small report intensity framework, “sketch problem-solving framework and provide moral or rational evaluation framework” are mostly used, news dispatches without schema are mainly used, to highlight its seriousness and authority of the media image; Tencent takes big report intensity framework, “interpretation of the cause of the incident framework” is mostly used, and the styles of reports are much more diversified, to emphasize its humanistic care.
