Since the beginning of reform and opening up,China has entered a period of social transformation. At the same time as the rapid economic development, various social conflicts have become increasingly prominent.Natural disasters, accidents and disasters, public health events and other major emergencies occur from time to time.Because of their characteristics, major emergencies will receive massive attention in a short period of time, gather the attention of the audience, and easily set off storms of public opinion.,which in turn undermines the stability and harmony of the social order.Today, audiences are increasingly eager for information, and reports on major emergencies can not only reflect media coverage and crisis public relations capabilities, but also reflect the media's news framework. For the same event, the reports presented by different media are quite different. This is the result of the selection and reorganization of the same event by different media based on their own reporting framework.Due to the different news frameworks constructed by the media, the effect of the dissemination in the guidance of public opinion and the impact on the audience perception are also not the same.In major incident reports, compared with online media and self-media,audiences are most concerned about mainstream media coverage because mainstream media have authority and credibility.By reporting on the one hand,it can obtain the information it needs. On the other hand,it can also see the mainstream media's attitude toward the incident. In particular, the “People's Daily” is a party media that is vocal for the government. The audience eagerly wants to see the government's attitude towards a certain incident in order to alleviate the psychological uncertainty and discomfort. The Southern Weekend, which is a mainstream media for the public, has given the audience a sense of closeness in the reporting of major emergencies, and it is equally easy to get the attention of the audience. Therefore, this paper intends to use the framework of research hotspots in the field of communication as a theoretical support.Through quantitative analysis methods of content analysis, this paper analyzes hot topics that are of great concern to the government, the public, and the media.Although the comparative study was conducted by the mainstream media, the two paper media, the People's Daily and the Southern Weekend, whose news frameworks are widely divergent, selected “3.1” Kunming Railway Station violence in the reports of major emergencies that have occurred in recent years in China.Terrorist(2014),“7.17” Malaysian Airlines crash(2014),“6.1” East Star Tourist Passenger Ship Overturning(2015),“8.12” Tianjin Binhai New Area Explosion(2015),Southern Flood(2016)Five major emergencies were studied.Combining with Zang Guoren's frame theory analysis method and other researchers' researches on the framework theory, from the high-level macro perspectives such as the number of news reports, reporter genres, news pages, and sources,“main events”,“attributes”,“assessments”,“ The three-level low-level micro-architecture such as “influencing” middle-level schema structures and “rhetorical devices”,“key words”,“titles” and “detailed descriptions” comprehensively and in-depthly analyzed the two media's major emergencies. Finally, through the questionnaire survey, the cognitive differences caused by the framework differences between the two audiences were derived. The media should fully understand that the audience framework is also following. The constant changes of the times should not blindly use the previously solidified dissemination framework to disseminate news to the audience. Not only can it not achieve its purpose of dissemination, but its dissemination effect may be counter-productive.This article also tries to contribute to the framework theory research.
