Research On Reports Of Online Game In People's Daily From The Perspective Of Framework Theory

With the popularity of the Internet and the advancement of information technology,online games have developed rapidly and their influence has expanded.They have been closely watched by the news media.Combining with the theory of news framework,this paper used content analysis,text analysis and case analysis to sort out the news reports related to online games of People's Daily and summed up its advantages and disadvantages and explored the optimize countermeasures.The first part quantified the content of the report,news sources,sources and other content,and sorts out the news reports of the online news related to the People's Daily from 2000 to 2018.The research found that the theme of the report focused on online game laws and policies.The report genre is mainly based on news genre.The report layout focused on the cultural news version.The news sources were mainly self-made news.The source of the news mainly came from the authoritative source of government departments.The second part analyzed the theme framework and explored the specific content of the theme frame of the news report related to online games of People's Daily.The study found that the theme framework mainly included three types: “call-and-prevention” framework,“governance-effectiveness” framework and “innovation-support” framework,each one of them with its own characteristics.The third part discussed the structural framework of the media coverage of the "People's Daily" online game related news from the perspective of news illustration,and analyzed the new graphic structure of the news text.The study found that the news images of the "People's Daily" online game were relatively fixed,mainly with "outline-main events-consequences".The fourth part mainly analyzed the narrative framework of the micro level of the news reports based on the style of the news text and the use of pictures.The study found that its news headlines used less rhetoric,and most of rhetorics were metaphorical and anthropomorphic;the genre of message genre was dominated by generalized lead with less rhetoric;the quotations were based on no quotation.The direct quotations were mainly supplemented by indirect quotations;and the pictures were mainly used for live pictures,homemade charts and comic pictures.The fifth part mainly analyzed the influencing factors of the news report framework of the People's Daily online game from the perspectives of the People's Daily newspaper positioning,the news practitioners' check,the online game related policy and the real social environment change.At the same time,the research found that the People's Daily online game related news reports have diversed coverage topics,focused on news value,report layout and form in line with the nature of the media,self-made news dominates the subject,originality,and focused on the guidance of public opinion.The study also revealed a few flaws in its news reports,and provided strategic guidance from the importance of the accuracy and balance of the sources and the appropriate increase of the news icon structure,in order to provide reference for future news reports.
