The Research Of The People's Daily Anti-corruption Reports

As the 18 th CPC National Congress end, the corruption problem not only become a hot topic in the society, but also become animportant object of each media reports. In fact, since the Reform and Opening, the anti-corruption new always are an important part of the media reports. The People's Daily, as the Chinese Communist party mouthpiece, has paid a lot attention to and led the "anti-corruption" reports over years. So, this paper will be used to combine quantitative and qualitative methods, to study the relevant reports of the people's daily for 37 years. In order to play some guidance and reference to the other medias, this study will find the characteristics of the reports, summarize its reporting framework, and the shortcomings of the "anti-corruption" report.This paper will select "People's Daily"(1979-2015) anti-corruption reports as the object of study,sampling by means of constructing a week,using content analysis and frame theory, to explore what is the framework of the text and content about "People's Daily" anti-corruption reports, and is there any change in the past 37 years? And to find out the factors that affect the frame of the reports. Then at last, this study will summarize the characteristics and deficiencies of the "anti-corruption" report, so can give some advises to other medias.This paper is divided into six parts(the first, the second, the third, and the fourth and the fifth chapter):The first chapter is mainly about the origin, the theory and the significance of the study. In the part of research status, this study takes three part summarizes, these are the current status of the domestic anti-corruption, the study of anti-corruption reports and the study of the People's Daily reports.Meanwhile, in this chapter, it defines the concept of what is corruption, what is anti-corruption,what is anti-corruption reports and other related concepts, and tries to stand on the shoulders of the predecessors to study the people's daily by a new perspective.The second chapter is mainly on the basis of the introduction, and take analysis of report content and frameworks of anti-corruption reports in past 37 years.The first part of this chapter has seven parts, there are the number of reports, report genre, the report layout, manuscript source object was reported, and the sources of reports. In the second part of this chapter, this research will analysis the frameworks of the sample for 37 years, to find out the framework of anti-corruption reports. And count the frequency the framework using, in order to achieve the purpose which is research the text frame of anti-corruption reports.The third chapter will analysis factors which affect the framework of anti-corruption report by three aspects, to examine whether the anti-corruption reports framework of this newspaper might change as the change of politics, economy and culture;The fourth chapter will summarizes the characteristics and deficiencies of the anti-corruption report from 3 aspects,such as the information source, writing mode, and frame setting. In the fifth chapter, the paper will puts forward some suggestions and opinions for the anti-corruption reports in 3 aspects, such as grasping the authenticity of the facts, putting an end to the media trial and change the mode of the newspaper reports. Finally, in the sixth chapter, the paper will be summarized and concluded. So that we can have a deep comprehensive about whether the anti-corruption reports frameworks of this newspaper are change in 37 years and find out those factors which affect the framework of anti-corruption report.
