The Content Analysis Of "Waste Management" Report In People's Daily(1949-2020)

Since the 21 st century,with the development of industrialization and urbanization and the rapid increase of population,the annual output of garbage can reach more than 100 million tons,and the ecological and environmental problems are becoming increasingly prominent.Serious environmental pollution affects the progress and development of the country,hinders the improvement of people's living standards,garbage treatment is related to improving the living environment of urban and rural residents in China.How to deal with the huge output of garbage has become an important part of solving environmental problems.With the continuous improvement of the quality of life,the problem of garbage treatment has become a hot topic.The reports on garbage disposal have been paid attention by different social strata,which affects the audience's sense of view and plays a certain guiding role in changing people's behavior.At present,China's waste management is developing towards a good trend,the public awareness of waste management is improving,but it needs to be improved.As an important mainstream media in China,people's daily reports on waste treatment,to a certain extent,reflect the attention of China on waste and waste treatment.In this paper,the people's Daily's news reports on "waste management" in the 72 years from 1949 to 2020 are analyzed as a whole,and the growing trend of change in the reports on waste management in China is summarized,from the five aspects of measures and suggestions,current affairs and policies,positive encouragement,current problems and garbage science popularization,this paper analyzes the news content of people's daily on garbage treatment,and obtains the characteristics of the report,as well as the influence of policies,media's social responsibility and the public's environmental protection concept on the characteristics,and concludes that there is a lack of folk discourse and weakness in China's garbage treatment reports There are four dilemmas: obvious status;uneven distribution of report topics,insufficient supervision;imbalance of report tendency,low early warning ability;obvious difference of report strength,insufficient attention.According to the summary and integration of the content of the report,people's daily should also balance the positive and negative tendencies of the report,strengthen the supervision of news public opinion;strengthen the scientific popularization of the report,promote the orderly governance;focus on the public information sources,enhance the interaction between the media and the audience;tell good stories with data and pictures,attract readers' interest in reading;make rational use of the report style,and transfer the garbage We should make continuous efforts in these five aspects.
