Research Of University Educational Information System Based On J2EE

With the development of high education in our country, the enrollment scale of every university is increasing year by year, which bring much pressure for education management business. The development of educational information system can enhance business process efficiency, and provide technical support foe educational management.A university in Henan province is selected as research background of this dissertation, in order to develop educational information system which is suitable for businesses in this university. Requirement analysis is carried out based on problems that should be tackled during educational management process of this university. Users of this information system are divided into several participants of student, teacher, college educational administrator, school educational administrator, and etc. Use case analysis is carried out for every participant based on UML diagram. Through use case analysis, functional requirement of every participant is acquired. Based on functional analysis result, the system is divided into several independent modules of basic functional module, student role management module, course management module and other modules. According the sequence of from local to whole, database ER model is designed for every functional module. Based on local ER models, the database whole ER model is acquired. Database table structure model is acquired based on database ER model and transformation principles between different models. The technical of Struts and Hibernate are selected for system develop circumstance establishment. According to framework features, the system is divided into three layers. Struts is responsible for functional logic process, Hibernate is responsible for communication between system and database. Functional classed and methods are designed for functions in this system, and the system is implemented. System user interfaces are designed and system running results are acquired.University educational information management system improved teaching management level and is benefit for teaching quality improvement.
