The Developing Of The Campus Information System And Realization Of Portal Based On J2EE Platform

Because the network sets of most college are completed, it is the same notion that the digital campus and campus portal are constructed on these hardwares. Developing campus information system (CIS) is the foundation of realizing campus portal, so it is meaningful that campus portal is constructed, only if many application systems have been completed. Educational administration management information system (EAMINS) is the core of the campus information system, which integrated levels of EAMINS affect the integration of CIS.We consider the characteristics of CIS and EAMINS, so we select oracle lOg integrated solution as the application system. We use the Oracle lOg database as the core database and the Oracle lOg Application Server as the J2EE application server. We use MVC design pattern as the software architecture and use EJB technology to complete business logic.In the chapter 4 we analyze the application architecture, work flow and data flow of EAMINS based on the academic year and credit system from operations of educational administration management and give architecture chart of EAMINS, chart of work flow and data flow. According to the analysis of business requirement, we give the summary design of EAMINS and complete the UseCase chart of system. After completing the summary design and business requirement, according to requirement of constructing data center, we design the database table of EAMINS based on the standard of Education Management Information Standard published by Education Department in PRC and the third normal formula (3NF).Finally we select the student status management module as the main completed module. First we construct a struts application system in the Oracle JDeveloper lOg editor and complete the struts flow chart of the student status management module using new characteristic of this editor. In the part of business logic design, we use the facade DTO and service locator design patterns and particularly analyze the design and completion of Entity bean Student and Session bean StudMag. We release the business logic as Web service. After we analyze the portal technology Oracle AS Portal architecture protlet portlet integrated into portal web clipping portlet and OmniPortlet that is two methods of portal integrated technologies, we select OmniPortlet to complete Web Service which is integrated into portal.
