| With the rapid development of Internet information technology, nearly all theeducational researching departments have their own independent websites which theyuse to publish the latest researching information and achieve the resource sharing. Atpresent, most of these websites are merely the replacements of traditional simplemanual operation and many departments can not efficiently share the other departments’data in time. This is a waste of resources and a lack of system flexibility. Therefore, theestablishment of an office automation system included many functions like publishinginformation, live in line and video on demand is very necessary.According to the requirement of Jiangsu Province Educational Researching Office,the system will be developed by the use of the J2EE platform, Windows2000Serversystem, Tomcat server, MySQL database server and JSP script language. At first, it hasintroduces the key technologies in this system, like B/S architecture and MVC designpatterns, and realize the teaching and researching management system based on relatedtechnologies. Second, the thesis will establish an educational research managementsystem with Struts framework. This kind of integrated frame makes oppositeindependence of each layer and reduces the coupling between different levels andaccelerates the system development process, and can be enhanced system expansion.Based on the analysis, we have developed the new educational research and officemanagement system. This system will realize three functions. And we have solved someproblems which were found in some tests. The system will improve the workingefficiency of the managers and scientific researchers greatly, can offer more scientificdata for leader’s policy and enhance the level of management and the competitiveadvantage of the institute, can together with other units’ systems easily. We try to runthe system and come to the expected target, and we are ready to generalize it in otherscientific research institute. |
