Construction On The Competence Evaluation Index System For Oncology Clinical Research Nurses

ObjectiveThe study was to preliminary construct the competence evaluation index system of oncology clinical research nurses with a variety of research methods,which is used to describe,analyze and evaluate the oncology clinical research nurses post competency level,and provide the reference for nursing personnel's systematic preservice training and scientifically setting up nursing human resources.MethodsThrough literature searchmethod,in-depth interview method with Critical Incident Method CI,M,initially construct the competence evaluation index system of oncology clinical research nurses.By Delphi expert consultation method(Delphi)investigate 21 selected experts three two surveys,to consultation the entry,content,and behavioral and behavioral describe of the index system,application Excel 2013 and SPSS20.0 software for dataprocessing,and application analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to determine weights to construct the competence evaluation index system of oncology clinical research nurses.Results 1.To construct the competence evaluation index system of oncology clinical research nurse.The evaluation index system should consist of 3 domains including knowledge and skill,clinical trial nursing ability,characteristics and motivation.The evaluation index system includes 3 level-1 dimensions,12 level-2 dimensions and 26 level-3 items,which is also includes content and behavioraloftheindex system.2.The three-round Delphi method had a positive coefficient 1.0,9.5,1.0.The authority coefficient of pundits fell in a scale of 0.73~0.98,with an average of 0.82.The round of judgments and familiarity coefficient was 0.92 and 0.80,respectively;The coefficient of variation on consultation fell between 0.061~0.336 and 0.063~0.234 in the first and second round respectively.The coordination coefficients of the first-dimension,second-dimension and items was 0.435,0.297 and 0.254,respectively,p<0.001.3.The weight assignment of 3 level-1 dimensions were of 0.3613,0.4104,0.2284.The CR value of consistency check fell between 0.0000-0.0624.The top 3 combination weight of level-2 dimensions are: clinical trials expertise(0.1616),clinical trials management ability(0.1328),assist in the formulation and implementation ability(0.1295).The CR value of consistency che-ck fell between 0.0000~0.0762.The top 3 combination weight of level-3 dimensions within the knowledge and skill dimensionare: basic knowledge of good clinical practice,GCP(0.1609),first-aid and use of first-aid medi-cal equipment(0.1584),knowledge of standard practice for process(0.1568).The CR value of consistency check fell between 0.0000~0.0772;The top3 combination weight of level-3 dimensions within the clinical trial nursing ability are: the ability of preventing and handling of GCP emergencies(0.1261),subject management(0.0905),the ability of collectingand processing data(0.0819).The CR value of consistency check fell between 0.0000~0.0944.Conclusion 1.The competency evaluation index system is reliable and valid.which can be the reference for nursing personnel's systematic preservice training and scientifically setting up nursing human resources.2.Based on the competency model,the competency evaluation index system mainly contains three major sections,that is,upper theoretical knowledge and skills,middle-level clinical trial nursing ability and lower motives and characteristics.3.Clinical trials expertise,clinical trials management ability,assist in theformulation and implementation ability,oncology nursing professional skillhas been regarded to be the main evaluation index.
