The therapy group was treated by the abdominal awn needle acupuncture at weidao(GB28) point to zhongji(RN3), henggu(KI11) and the control group was given conventional acupuncture at zhongji(RN3),pangguangshu(BL28),shenshu(BL23),sanyinjiao(SP6).Two groups were taken 30 minutes every time,l time per day,6 days for a course of treatment, one day off in every six days, continuous treatment 4 courses. Observed the change in the urinary incontinence degree assessment and the clinical symptom scores of two groups before and after treatment. Record the change of urine times per day, urine output per time, bladder maximum capacity, residual urine volume of two groups before and after treatment.Result:Clinical observation showed:in the urinary incontinence degree assessment, the total effective rate of the therapy group and the control group were 93.33% and 76.67%, the therapy group better than the control group(P<0.05); according to the clinical symptom scores of urinary incontinence, the total effective rate of the therapy group and the control group were 86.67% and 63.33%, which exist significant differences (P<0.05)and significant statistically; with the statistical of urine times per day, urine output per time, bladder maximum capacity, residual urine volume, show that the improve degree of the therapy group better than the control group's(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The therapy group and the control group both have the therapeutic effect for the treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke.2.The overall effect of the treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke by the abdominal awn needle acupuncture better than the control group.
