The study can provide intervention suggestions for nursing managers and theoretical basis for improving the quality of nursing service. Methods Selected 398 clinical nurses who work in three two-grade hospitals in Suzhou City with the method of Convenience sampling. A series of questionnaires which including General information, PSQI, FAI and MBI were used to collect data from August to December 2014. All data input EpiData 3.1 and then output SPSS 22.0 to analyze. The statistical methods included descriptive analysis, t-test, F-test, SNK-q test and Spearman relation analysis.Results1. The characteristics of sleep quality. The average score of PSQI of 398 clinical nurses who work in three two-grade hospitals is 6.99±3.6, in which 161 nurses (40.45%) have the problem of sleep disorder. Through the t-test and F test, we know that the frequency of night shift influences nurses' sleep quality (P< 0.05).2. The characteristics of fatigue(1) Fatigue is common in 398 clinical nurses(86.68%), in which 61.02% are severe fatigue.(2) Working years influences the nurses'Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep (P< 0.05).(3) Title influences the nurses'Situation-specific Fatigue and the total score of fatigue (P< 0.05).(4) Income influences the nurses' Global Fatigue Severity, Situation-specific Fatigue, Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep and the total score of fatigue (P< 0.05).(5) Department influences the nurses' Fatigue Consequence and Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep (P< 0.05).(6) Frequency of night shift influences the nurses' Global Fatigue Severity and Fatigue Consequence (P< 0.05).3. The characteristics of job burnout(1) The 398 nurses' average score of Emotional Exhaustion is 22.15±11.86; the average score of Depersonalization is 8.57±6.67; the average score of Diminished Personal Accomplishment is 30.21±10.01; 65.08%nurses have the problem of job burnout.(2) Age influences the nurses' Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization (P< 0.05).(3) Working years influences the nurses' Emotional Exhaustion and Diminished Personal Accomplishment (P< 0.05).(4) Position influences the nurses' Emotional Exhaustion (P< 0.05).(5) Income influences the nurses' Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization (P< 0.05).(6) The frequency of night shift influences the nurses'Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization (P< 0.05).(7) The result of Multiple liner stepwise regression analysis show that:the nurses' Global Fatigue Severity, the scores of PSQI, the frequency of night shift more than twice a week, the age of 26-35 years old, the nurses' Fatigue Consequence, monthly salayies more than RMB 4000 and Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep influence the nurses'Emotional Exhaustion(P<0.05); the nurses' Global Fatigue Severity, working years of 1-10 years, Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep, monthly salaries more than RMB 4000, the nurses'Situation-specific Fatigue, the frequency of night shift more than twice a week and working years more than 21 years influence the nurses' Depersonalization (P<0.05); Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep, employment relationship, the nurses'Fatigue Consequence and department of ICU influence the nurses'Diminished Personal Accomplishment (P<0.05).4. Relation among sleep quality, fatigue, and job burnout.Through the Spearman test to nurses' sleep quality, fatigue and job burnout, we know that sleep quality has positive relation with job burnout. Global Fatigue Severity, Situation-specific Fatigue and Fatigue Consequence have positive relation with Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization. Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep has negative relation with Depersonalization and Diminished Personal Accomplishment.Conclusion1. Sleep disorder, fatigue and job burnout are common in the clinical nurses who work in three hospitals in Suzhou City. Nursing managers should pay more attention to it.2. In three hospitals in Suzhou City, nurses' Global Fatigue Severity, Situation-specific Fatigue and Fatigue Consequence have positive relation with Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization. Fatigue of Responsiveness to rest/sleep has negative relation with depersonalization and Diminished personal accomplishment.
