Material management, is refers to the enterprise in the production process, the enterprise the material procurement, use, storage and conduct of plan, organization and control. Materials management is designed, through effective management of materials, to reduce the production cost, accelerate the capital turnover, and promote enterprise material management industry profitability, enhance the market competition ability of the enterprise. The enterprise materials management, including several important links of material planning, purchasing, material use and storage of goods and materials, these links are linked together, influence each other, any link problems, will supply chain of enterprises adverse effects. With the business process reengineering further forward, company to join the informationization construction, make the business process reengineering more integrated, standardized, scientific, dynamic, long-term. YT company belongs to state-owned enterprises, the production of various kinds of materials needed, working process is long, the related department personnel is more, through the implementation of the ERP project, the material system has significant improvement, material business process improvement, the paperless office has become the trend of enterprises. At present, YT company holds stock funds than stock material major, serious waste of production materials, the backlog of excess and production materials circulation is not smooth phenomenon is an urgent problem to solve. In the market, YT company and competitors, hope that through information management to strengthen the enterprise internal management level, reduce the cost, improve enterprise profitability and core competitiveness. In order to maintain their competitive advantage in the market, YT company through the introduction of SAP system for personnel adjustment, governance structure and optimization of business management process, in order to meet the market and the changing needs of customers.
