Since the1980s, financial shared service center was firstly implemented by the FordMotor Company of US. As an effective way of corporate financial management, theadvantage of FSSC is that it guarantees certain economies of scale to reduce financialmanagement and operating cost, as well as enhances their core competitiveness. Butdespite FSSC has a huge advantage, its disadvantages are also obvious. Especially in ourcountry, in the case of introducing this model for a short time, we have a great gapcompared to advanced foreign enterprises in the process of practical application. Andtherefore how to make large-scale enterprises to maximize the value of FSSC is becomingreal problems currently. And how to use this model reasonably has became a research topicof practical significance.This article adopts the method of combining normative research and case analysis,studying the monographs and papers about FSSC at home and abroad. It analyzes differentstage features of this model and its function, operation and risk control. And I also studythe application situation of this model. This paper points out both the subjective andobjective factors restricting our enterprises well using this model. And then it puts forwardrelevant improve suggestions. Finally followed by the actual situation of the FSSC of TycoElectronics China, I analyze its successful and inefficient factors. And I also give myrecommendations on.how to make it better. I hope my paper can provide experience andreference to our enterprises.
