As a bigger country of coal production and consumption, to ensure coal mine safety, continuous, stable production is particularly important. Video monitoring system is an important guarantee for the safety production of coal mine. But the current coal mine video monitoring system has the problems of complicated structure and functional separation.It can not provide effective technical support for disaster relief joint command scheduling and safety production of coal mine.Aiming at the existent problems in coal mine video monitoring, based on the analysis of domestic and foreign research status of video surveillance system related technologies, combined with the actual needs and development trend of the monitoring system of coal mine video monitoring system, designs a remote video monitoring system based on FPGA.Firstly, based on the analysis of the image acquisition time and "Ping Pang cache" mechanism, designs the image gathering chip disposition module, the image data gathering interface module and the data buffer module. Secondly, through the analysis of network video transmission based on the WEB principle, designs the network driver module, embedded protocol stack and the WEB server. Lastly, completes the system function performance test under the laboratory condition.FPGA-based remote video monitoring system, images acquisition, cache and data transmission functions in a hardware platform, which simplifies the system. At the same time, the B/S pattern design is also more in line with the development trend of coal mine monitoring system, joint command and control for coal mine safety and disaster relief have important practical significance.
