| In China, Negative Report is a sensitive word in field of news media, which most journalists feel afraid to face while reporting news, instead, they tender towards the positive report of praise and admiration. Resulting from being bound by the long-term traditional concept, Chinese media thinks that negative things do harm to journalists'fame and authority, and even deviate from the news principle that journalists should focus on positive reports. From the theories and works of news reports, domestic research community has got a comprehensive and systematic study system on how to improve the study of "good news", however, it is rare to discuss how to report the negative news extensively and deeply. Therefore, the further study on negative reports is the first imperative likes the arrow on the bow that is ready to be shot.This thesis focuses on the definition of Negative Reports, distinguishes several confusable concepts, expatiates on its essence, explains Negative Reports perfectly, then elaborates on the type, happening, features and functions of Negative Reports through large numbers of examples and the theories of news, discusses the theory and practice of negative reports, news management and supervision by news media with a useful simplification, reflects upon and direct negative reports finally. There will be direction for the future practice of news, it is helpful for news workers recognize and grasp the work of negative reports, and it is better to achieve the effects of positive communication and for supervision by news media. That is the thesis'significance. |
