China is a country thatper capitawater resources is poor, the rational use of water resources related to the development of industry and agriculture, but also closely related to the lives of everyone. Currently, due to the lack of supervisionin some regions of china, waste and excessive exploitation of groundwater resources is more serious, and even the ground subsidence, soil salinization and other harsh conditions. How reasonable and effective exploitation and supervision of groundwater is a problem that needs to be solved urgently.Based on the demand analysis of groundwater monitoring in Fengtai area of Huainan, a wireless remote monitoring system based on GPRS is designed in this paper. With the comprehensive application of sensor technology, embedded technology, GPRS communication technology, computer monitoring and control technology, we have completed the remote monitoring of groundwater buried depth, water level real-time monitoring information and provided certain reference value for the relevant departments and the leadership. Firstly, this paper elaborates the research background, purpose and significance in detail, given the development status of groundwater monitoring areas at home and abroad,compared to a current lack of groundwater monitoring in the field. On the analysis of the functional requirements of the system, this paper introduces the overall structure,themain functions and features, in order to determine the VPN special network as a network solution, given the theoryof system. This paper spells out the date transfer process and network structure of GPRS wireless network and VPN special network, the use of the PPP protocol and UDP protocol. Itdesigns the system transmission frame structure and gives the specific transmission frame example.This paperfocus the design of the system hardware structure, including selection and circuit design of GPRS DTU, GPRS communication module. The system uses to Cortex TM-M3core chip as the main controller of STM32F103VCT6 chip and uses to SIM900A as wireless communication module. Finally, this paper introduces the system software design process, including the software design of the GPRS wireless communication module, monitoring center software overall design, system function module design, database design, such as water line design, front end design and gives the system running examples.At present, the system has been put into practical use. Remote monitoring terminal, GPRS wireless communication network, monitoring center of the three structure interacting with each compose as the whole system, realizes the real-time monitoring, the monitoring of groundwater water level data, saving a lot of manpower, physical and financial resources, cater to the supply and demand coordination of present groundwater and providing some reference in the field of monitoring of other design.
