For city tap water supply network has a large number of nodes in scatteredlocations and distribution of a wide range of features, this paper proposed andimplemented a water supply system based GRPS technology. Through the system tocomplete the real-time data measurement and analysis is able to achieve rationalmanagement of water resources allocation and found that failure to eliminate hiddendangers, the purpose of saving water. This paper analyzes the pros and cons of a variety of data collection methods of themonitoring system to determine the GPRS network as the system remote signaltransmission platform. According to the characteristics of the tap water supply pipenetwork, select the type of sensor suitable for the performance indicators of the system.Chip technology, build remote monitoring data acquisition the subsystem hardwareplatform, through RTU sensor data collected by the data acquisition module, the use ofwireless terminal DTU data transmission through the GPRS network to the monitoringcenter. Through embedded program development technology, research and developremote monitoring data acquisition subsystem data acquisition and transmission program. The use of database technology and TCP/IP network application specification, tapwater supply pipe network monitoring center login, monitoring real-time data display, remote configuration, data management and display functions. In this paper, the realization of the system to high-speed, reliable and timelytransmission of large amounts of data of the number of nodes of the water supplynetwork; dynamic DNS, the monitoring center without IP restrictions, cost savings; hasgood versatility, the GPRS terminal software and monitoring center managementprogram based on the specific circumstances minor changes can be applied to otherremote data acquisition system.
