With the development of electronic information technology, the analog to digital data converter(ADC) is increasingly widely used in aerospace electronic equipment, such as various types of satellites, spacecraft. The enhancement of the anti-radiation ability of the ADC is critical for the normal operation requirements of the aerospace electronic equipment. Therefore, the anti-radiation technology of ADC converter has great significance to the development of space application technology, and is also one of the bottlenecks that restrict the further improvement of the anti-radiation performance of aerospace equipment.Based the theoretical and technical principles of high-speed high precision ADC to date, the architecture design and anti-radiation design of the high-speed and high precision ADC are investigated and discussed systematically in this paper, aiming at the requirement of bottleneck applications to high speed and high precision ADC. The emphasis is laid on the anti-radiation enhancement design and experimental verification.Firstly, we introduce the natural or man-made radiation sources. According to different radiation sources, detailed analysis is performed for the physical mechanism of total dose effect and single event effect that are most common for ADC. The approaches of anti-radiation enhancement are discussed from the aspects of the circuit design, layout and process.An anti irradiation high speed 16 bit ADC is designed and fabricated based on standard CMOS mixed signal process. We have solved the circuit is the key technologies of key units: a no protection CMOS input buffer structure with constant impedance and high speed wire rod, effectively reducing the power consumption of the circuit; design of pipeline core through high front-end design of the linearity of the linear network, capacitor mismatch repair circuit design measures to achieve the overall ADC requirements; the stability of the clock for air ratio control circuit effectively guarantee the normal operation of the pipeline.Finally, using anti-radiation reinforcement technology, we have designed a high speed and high precision ADC, and complete its layout design and fabrication process. With the high speed and high precision ADC parameters and irradiation testing and evaluation system built ourselves, s we have experimentally tested the package sample. The experimental results show that the design of the anti-radiation high speed and high precision ADC meets the design requirements.
