Agile Development With Kanban To Deliver Mobile Application With Very Limited Resources

With the celebration of Republic of Singapore’s 50th birthday, the government creates a committee to ask Singaporean to participate in it. One kind of participation is to create an application about the celebration and Singapore. Because the team originally come from Singapore, and the main branch of the office is in Singapore, Beijing office are to participate into creating the application. The proposed application will let users submit images, which will be shown on a real physical wall in a public place in Singapore. Because of time restriction and limited resources, the team decides to apply Agile method for working on this project. Kanban board is used to track project development based on feature implementation status.First chapter of this thesis is introduction to the project, describing Agile briefly and states the objective of the project. Second chapter is analysis of the project’s requirement. Inside this chapter describe the problem, what is the requirement, what technology will be used, and UML such as use case plus entity relationship diagram. Third chapter is detailed design and implementation of the application. Fourth chapter is about testing the application against the created use cases. Finally, last chapter is the conclusion.The mobile application successfully launched version 1.0 as the most viable product (MVP), later on fixed some bug on version 1.0.1 and these two version application is being used by the user to submit images. The physical wall is filled completely within the planned schedule.
