In recent years, the problem of left-behind children is beening exposed by the media, which caused high attention of the government and all sectors of society."Left-behind children" Stranded is in a critical period of socialization, whether they are able to grow on the physical and mental health, which is not only related to their own future and destiny, but also have important and far-reaching impact for harmonious and stable development in construction of a new socialist countryside and society.Network as the theme of the development of new media has gained momentum, but in today’s rural China it is not universal. The TV remains an important way of accessing to information. In this survey, Yin Yangzhao Township is one of the dead ends of the development of new media, rural children left behind at home have not chance to access network, so TV is much more important in their daily lives. Therefore, the study of television in the socialization process of children left behind in rural areas has a very important practical significance.The paper selected200left-behind children and100non-left-behind children from Yin Yangzhao Township in LuoHe city of Henan Province as object of study. This paper use structured interview, observation, empirical research methods, with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to study four levels of the TV media in the socialization process of children left behind in rural areas:moral status, role play, social interaction, life skills. Through the study found:TV media have an important impact on the socialization process of left-behind children in rural areas, depending on the television the frequency of contact, the contact length, contact with the contents of the degree of its social impact is also different In order to reduce or avoid the adverse effects of television media in the socialization process of children left behind in rural areas, the conclusion, the article on how to create a favorable media environment for the healthy growth of the rural children left behind corresponding solutions.
