Since 2000, the television program "The Big Brother" (The Big Brother) had been first aired in Holland Veronica station and got an unprecedented success, then it was introduced in the United States, Germany, Canada and other dozens of countries and regions with dozens of different versions. This program makes a called "reality show" (Reality TV) sets off the ratings frenzy in the global scope. In June 2000, the program "Survival Challenge" launched in Guangdong TV, which makes Chinese audience first felt the great charm of the reality show. Subsequently, CCTV and provincial TV stations started reality shows for innovation and development.In recent years, the reality shows accounted for more and more proportion in TV entertainment programs, an endless stream of Outdoor sports, family parenting, music talent show series have been active on the screen, domestic major TV stations and media companies have also gained huge benefits from reality shows. Now that the introduction of foreign reality TV model has entered a peak period in China, the major TV stations are staged "copies" of foreign reality TV show. On the current situation, it’s a common practice about the introduction of television programs from overseas to transform or joint research. It can be said that in the present, it has become a new tendency of Chinese television industry. Such a environment affects the development trend of Chinese television industry, so this paper will study the special case, in order to research the integration and innovation of overseas reality show pattern, and the author hopes to provide some useful suggestions for the future development of such programs.As for the choice of "Let’s go" as a study case, this program is a typical historical experience sort of reality show, it starts with five thousand years of Chinese historical and cultural background, the setting plots and game tasks correspond with representative humanities and social customs. It makes audience feel interesting and also learn a lot of knowledge. "Let’s go" is not just a outdoors game show, the combination of program elements and Chinese cultural background is the key point that we need to pay attention to and study.The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly introduces the source of the topic, the purpose of the study and related research status, and leads to the main issues to be discussed in this paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the historical background of the development of Chinese reality show and the existing competitive situation in order to find the existing problems in the background and current situation. The content of this part is the opening, through the research of this chapter, we can have a clear understanding of the development and the current situation of the reality show, and also pave the way for the following discussion.The third part, from the specific case "Let’s go", gives a detailed analysis about the program elements and characteristics. The author interprets this case from character feature, story themes and game arrangements. Combined the domestic ratings of the program with the reaction of overseas market, the author wants to study how the program "Let’s go" carried out after the introduction of copyright pattern. At the same time, the author selects the similar program "Ding Ge Long Dong Qiang" as another case for a comparative analysis, which about the guests choose and narrative content of the two shows.The fourth chapter, which base on the case in the third chapter, get a summary that Chinese reality shows need the integration of foreign copyright program pattern and the needs of the domestic market and multiple dimension innovation. Chapter Four also puts forward some suggestions on how to enhance the overall level of the reality TV program.The fifth chapter as the conclusion part, do a summary about the full text of the discussion and countermeasures for the issue, once again clear the main content of this paper.Whether it is the so-called "localization development" or "innovation and development" and so on, those can not be separated from the integration of the specific circumstances of the domestic market. Reality show as "exotic", how to survive and develop in China, we should pay attention to it and stay patient.
