With the rapid development and wide application of modern electronic technology, such as computer, wireless communication, sensor networks and so on, it is the developing direction of the intelligent building of the granary. Grain monitoring system as one of the new technology of modern granary is always an important component and also a hotspot in intelligent granary construction researches.The granary temperature and humidity are the key factors of the grain monitoring system. Realization of granary temperature and humidity balance is very important for the safe storage of granary. At present, the rapid development and wide application of wireless sensor network provides a more advanced and efficient method for the construction of grain monitoring system. According to the characteristics of granary storage and application status, this paper used wireless sensor network technology to design a temperature and humidity monitoring system of the grain with the characteristics of simple wiring, low power consumption, control accuracy.Firstly, the system used the wireless low power consumption chip CC2530 as the core of the processor, and used Zig Bee technology as well as CC2591 chip to establish the wireless sensor network and increase the communication distance. The system designed multi sensor testing nodes based on PCF8563 and DS18b20 of low power consumption and designed temperature and humidity acquisition node based on SHT10 chip, which used in the collection of temperature and humidity inside and outside the granary; Moreover, it also designed the control node based on the multi relays to control the ventilation equipment.Secondly, the system used ASP.NET(Web) technology to develop the remote monitoring platform of the granary, which can realized the functions of storage, analysis and effective remote control the temperature and humidity of the granary. And a control strategy based on the mechanical ventilation technology of grain storage is introduced in the remote monitoring platform, which can meet the different grain ventilations control, realize the intelligent ventilation control, avoid grain damage caused by excessive ventilation, as well as ensure the safe storage of grain.Finally, by the test of the stability of the network communication and the realization of the remote monitoring platform of the granary, the feasibility of Zig Bee application in the granary temperature and humidity monitoring system is proved.
