Food storage is an important factor related to economic development and social stability, science store grain has important social significance and economic value. At this stage, most of the major granaries monitor the environment by the means of wired communication, but this means has many drawbacks: high wining construction costs, high difficulty to expand the system and high maintenance costs. Compared with traditional wired communication methods, utilizing wireless communication methods can avoid these drawbacks significantly. It has many advantages, such as low cost, less wiring, less susceptible to be interfered, and strong scalability.Wireless monitoring system doesn’t need people to reach the granary field. The terminal node monitors the temperature, humidity, concentration of carbon dioxide and other parameters of the grain storage. The coordination nodes do some corresponding treatment, then transmit the data to the host computer. The host computer makes the incoming data which is from lower machine be analyzed, stored, and handled to show more intuitive by graphic form.The paper refers to a lot of information of wireless communication and grain measurement and control technology to study the system, currently on the market from the aspects of precision and the reliability of the device. After the investigation of the demand of the market and the actual application of grain condition monitoring system, we analyze the feasibility of the development of wireless grain measurement and control system. Based on its feasibility, we determine the parameters of the system from the actual situation, and then combine with the wireless transmission technology to determine the final control scheme: Design the measurement circuit testing the grain temperature, humidity, concentration of carbon dioxide to monitor the environment parameters by using grain sensor. Elaborate the hardware and software of the terminal node and the coordinate node by using CC2530 as the core.
