With the rapid development of the modern society economic, pursuing high quality life has become a consensus of human, and the food quality directly influence people’s life. Therefore, people’s requirements to the quality of the stored grain are increasing. At present, the sensor networks of the grain environmental monitoring system mostly adopt cable access, there are many kinds of advantages such as the complex in warehouses construction, installation, maintenance and difficult to expansion. According to the status quo, this paper adopt the combination of ZigBee wireless technology and CAN BUS to realize real-time data acquisition of warehouses temperature and humidity. Grain divide the warehouses into several areas, make the terminal node inside the area to consist of wireless sensor network through ZigBee wireless communication, connect the acquired temperature and humidity information of each wireless sensor network with CAN BUS through routing nodes, after the mode that connection on the CAN BUS receiving data, after receive the data, the data receiving module of CAN BUS send the data to industrial PC and displaying it on industrial PC monitor system.Firstly, the paper discussed the research significance and the value of the topic, introduced the research status of the warehouses environment monitoring system. Then analyzed the characteristics and principle of ZigBee wireless communication technology and the CAN BUS, and determined the warehouses environment monitoring system based on the combination of ZigBee and CAN BUS.The paper designed the software and hardware of the wireless sensor end-node, routing node and data receiving modules, realized the temperature and humidity data collection and distribution. Use VC software to write upper computer environment monitoring, receive data from CAN BUS through data receiving module. In this method, we can clearly know the temperature and humidity situation of each warehouses from display interface of industrial control computer, and make rapid reaction to the abnormal situation appeared in warehouses.The experiment has shown that the warehouses monitoring system which based on ZigBee and CAN BUS can exact meet the demand of monitoring warehouses environmental parameters, It provide a kind of feasible scheme to the large-scale warehouses monitoring system in the future.
