With the rapid development of modern computer technology and wireless network technology, the needs of application of the technology is becoming more widely. The gradual introduction of high-tech is also involved in sports training to make the training more scientific. Especially the sports training with relatively high demand of positioning technology and velocity measurement, such as football, basketball, hurdles, which rely more on electronic instruments. But with the limitations of the real-time nature of electronic devices, positioning accuracy and networking conditions, perfect training system has not been achieved. This paper is focus on designing a low-cost, practical wireless sensing training system.The appearance of Zigbee based on the EEE802.15.4standard changed this situation. It is a new low-cost, low-power and ad hoc network wireless communication technology. With Zigbee technology is increasingly being developed and applied to the smart home, intelligent transportation, medical care and other areas, such as scientific sports training, which increasingly attract more attention.This thesis does main research on the application of football training system based on Zigbee positioning technology, on the basis of which, calculation of football players’ accumulated running distance, starting acceleration, the starting reaction as well as the tactical intent of coach who coordinate with the athletes’positioning on the field in football training, and so on. Based on the test and analysis of experimental data, the proposition put forward has been demonstrated to some extent, which is well tested in lab environment. The accomplished systems in this paper include the following four parts: the mobile node, the reference node, the coordinator and the host computer monitoring software. This paper will introduce the realization of the several parts in details. The node hardware integrated RF functions and51core microcontroller CC2340and CC2431chip as the core, with the platform assisted by RF modules, debugging module, function module and indicating circuit, in which, the mobile node adopts CC2431as the core module, the reference node and coordinator adopt CC2430module. Software development is based on the development of specific algorithms based on ZStack-1.4.3protocol stack provided by TI Company. Specific parts will be described in detail in the paper, and the concrete realization of the functions of various types of nodes will also be provided.We have done specific tests and recorded data as expected at the end of the paper. Data analysis indicates:the system achieves the expected requirements with low-cost and high-performance. And recommended methods of further enhancement and improvement are also suggested for the deficiencies found in the experiment.
