Based on the special circumstances of China’s vast population, the rapidand steady development of the food industry must be caused by a high degree ofattention, and grain reserves sectors in which occupies an important position.Grain storage has a direct impact on the quality and the quality of the food, thenit should be timely and accurate grasp of the various physical factors changes inthe grain storage process, especially grain temperature and content andtemperature and humidity of the air gap between the grain temperature.Identifing the variations of physical factors in grain reserves, which predict ofstorsred grain quality. Therefore, to study how to subvert the traditionalmonitoring system in the granary have great significance.At present, the wireless sensor network technology in grain monitoringsystem has become a tend. Any time and any circumstances, the wirelessnetwork enables people to obtain detailed and reliable information of themonitored area, but also has good flexibility, mobility, low cost.ZigBee wireless sensor network is applied to the grain situation monitoringsystems in the article, researching and solving the problem as follows:(1) Researching and analysising the research results and products of grainmonitoring means at home and abroad, analysis of the architecture and featuresof the ZigBee technology, studiing the ZigBee protocol stack, discussing theissues that need attention in the ZigBee technology applied to the granarymonitoring system.(2) Showing the the granary monitoring system design based on ZigBeewireless sensor, and building a wireless granary monitoring system based onZigBee technology, especially the monitoring of food temperature signal.(3) Giving the general-purpose data acquisitoin node design based onZigBee technology for wireless granary monitoring system, and design amonitoring node.(4) Basing on the ZigBee protocol network topology to build a star-shapednetwork monitoring system for granary, complete the networking hardware and software design.(5) Debugging the wireless nodes of design and building a granary system,in particularly the transmission distance of the node and the node energyconsumption indicators were analyzed, and gives the results of systemdebugging, thereby laid a solid foundation for improving wireless grainstorage system.
