Research On Improvement Of Documentation Management In F Company R&D Center

China’s automobile industry is an important part of the Chinese national economy. With years of rapid development, our market has become saturated. With high competition, products have been replaced very fast. These all become challenges to the R & D department, which means the R & D department needs to improve their quality and efficiency. As an important carrier of product information and management information essential for research and development, document management can effectively promote products research and development to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.F Company has a large-scale R & D center, which has more than 60 years of document management experience. However, they have problems with low management efficiency and unclear internal control. This essay uses document management theory to analyze its document management system and product technical document management, gives suggestions of how to solve problems such as low efficiency document management and unclear internal responsibilities. This essay is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the background and significance of this thesis. The second chapter introduces the connotation of document management and the importance of enterprise management, document management theory expounded, summed up the characteristics of car documents. The third chapter mainly focuses on F company R & D center and summarizes the status of the R & D center document management, which contains different types of system document, product technical documents, and standard document. It introduces in detail the document life cycle, beginning with conception, creation, usage, and ending with document saving or deleting. This chapter also analyzes problems with F company,s three types of files management. Based on the problems that are found above, the fourth chapter gives ideas to improve the R & D department,s document management, ideas such as the refinement of document classification and indexing, the management of templates, design documents, delivery management products, and technical data, the improvement change management and product design of electronic data file external grant management, carding clear criteria document preparation audit processes, management information and external standard text. The fifth chapter provides five methods in order to ensure better implementation of recommendations. They are as follows: enhancing the awareness of document management, strengthening the system construction, fostering a culture of learning organization to enhance the overall quality of document management, preparation of technical documentation, and improving document management system features. The sixth chapter is a final review, which presents the main conclusions of this essay and summarizes the deficiencies to enhance future direction.
