Research On Application Of RFID In Warehouse Management For Meat-Traceability System

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is a non-contact automatic identification technology, through the radio frequency signal with space coupling to achieve non-contact transmission of information, and to read data from the additional electronic tags on items, and to achieve automatically identifying. Its recognition process can work under harsh environmental conditions without human intervention, and have the feature of non-contact automatic reading. RFID technology combined with the Internet, communications and other technology, can achieve tracking and sharing information on a global scale. The RFID technology in warehouse management system under the Meat traceability not only can improve the efficiency of warehouse operations, but also timely and accurate record, transfer storage information for traceability later, provides an important guarantee for meat quality and safety. This paper take the modern logistics warehouse management as the research object, discuss the practical significance and the feasibility of meat traceability system which use the RFID technology in warehouse management, the work is as follows:There is a great problem in the development of the meat industry in China in recent years, such as the quality problem. By analysis the causes of problems, illustrating the importance and necessity of establish efficient and reliable warehouse management system under the traceability system, research and analyze the development process and application status at home and abroad of RFID technology, and provide reference for RFID applications in meat warehouse management.This paper tells the basic concepts and working principle of RFID technology, propose theoretical basis of RFID applications in the meat warehouse management, and compare the identification of RFID technology and the characteristics of information collection with other automatic identification technology, discuss their strengths and weaknesses.By integrating the requirements of meat traceability system and cold chain logistics for warehouse management, the paper analysis the problems and causes of the existence traditional warehouse management, and clarify using RFID technology of meat traceability system in the warehouse manage, not only can improve the efficiency of warehouse operations, but also timely and accurate recording, transmission storage information for post-retrospective, provides an important guarantee for meat quality and safety.By the research of RFID technology, warehouse management and cold chain logistics research, learn experience from scholars from home and abroad, the paper combines features in supply chain from farmed to sales, design suitable EFC coding scheme for meat traceability system, and prompt the warehouse management system for meat-traceability based on the B/S architecture and RFID technology to improve warehouse management processes, complete system design and implementation. Starting from the analysis of the system, design the overall function of the system, build hardware and software system environment and analysis key technologies, complete the development and testing of the final system of each module. The system uses Visual Studio 10.0 development tools and SQL Server 2008 database, based the. NET platform for development, has completed development of a prototype system, the system works well under laboratory conditions, basically achieved the objectives of the research topic.
