With an increasing development of science and technology, human society has entered the knowledge information era. It was also known as the Information Network Age. In the context of continuous development of modern human society, information management is widely used in all areas, and the military domain is no exception. The complicated international situations require the military make corresponding protection plan and send appropriate vehicles in time. Therefore, the management of vehicle is becoming an important part of the military daily management. It also has attracted more researchers’ attention.The military vehicle management system uses C # development language, SQL Server 2012 database technology, Visual Studio 2012 development platform, MVC design pattern and ASP.NET technology. SQL Server 2012 is a reliable, functional data platform, providing a higher level of solutions; cloud operations, flexible processes, code review and other features make Visual Studio 2012 a common platform for system development.After the analysis of requirement, we will divide the system users into three categories, namely, military cadres, drivers and administrators. Bases on this analysis, the system functions are divided into four modules, including vehicle records management module, vehicle scheduling management module, vehicle maintenance module and system management module. Vehicle records management is responsible for the management of specific information about the military vehicles, so as to keep abreast of each vehicle for military vehicle management department. According to the above information, we can judge whether there is a security risk and reach the retirement period to ensure that the safety of military personnel. This module includes the purchase registration, file registration, file query and file updating. Vehicle scheduling management is mainly responsible for dispatching management of military vehicles. Thus, vehicle administrator can make sense the dynamics of each vehicle in real time, thereby allowing rational dispatch of each vehicle. It consists of vehicle application, vehicle registration, vehicle location and driving status inquiry. Vehicle maintenance management is mainly responsible for the registration of repair and maintenance, the cost of usage of the vehicle, Including repair, maintenance, fees and traffic accidents registration. System management module is mainly responsible for management of the system user information, maintenance information, data information and log information.Through the investigating the current situation of military vehicle management system, we need design the system able to fully reflect the differences and uniqueness from other ordinary vehicle management, realize standardized management, and improve management quality and efficiency, guaranteeing the reliability and consistency of the data. The successful application of this system makes military vehicle management more orderly, digitization and intelligent, and realizes the requirements of vehicle information management, improves management efficiency, reduces their work intensity, saves labor management costs, and improves the efficiency of the military administration overall. The system not only has relatively complete functions, but also has the very intuitive user interface. Further, its stability and practicality is also improved.Finally, we test the system by black-box testing approach, and the main functions of the modules have got better achievement. User operation interfaces are also simple; basically meet the objective needs of the vehicle management.
