With the continuous improvement of information science technology, Internet technology has witnessed a long-term development.The speed of Web information processing based on Internet technology has been increasing rapidly, leading to the key role of information technology played in improving the operational efficiency of enterprises. In order to improve the efficiency of salary management, computer systems have been increasingly applied in the daily management of salary.It has evolved from an auxiliary tool reducing the labor intensity to a management pillar providing functions of data management, salary calculation, model analysis and decision support.This thesis aims to establish a salary management information system based on ASP,combined with the informatization needs of the bank’s human resources management. Through building a web server by setting IIS in Windows Server 2003,adopting Dreamweaver software together with ASP and Access database technology to achieve dynamic Webpage system designing, the salary management system finally achieves the integral function to provide a solution to the mess in salary management, resulting in optimization of management process and increase of working efficiency. The functions of the system include : to realize the the management of all the institutions, departments and staff within its jurisdiction,including the functions of changes,query and modification; to achieve application and approval functions of the changes in staff positions with salary coefficients determined by the posts;to achieve the design of performance-related pay module; to achieve multifunctional ways of payroll entry and functions of wage query and modification; to achieve file uploading and displaying functions(bulk imput and output) and the design of users’ jurisdiction.The salary management information system mentioned in this paper provides users with 24-hour access to the system,thereby releasing the human resource managers from tedious and repetitive daily work, enabling managers to be more devoted to the salary management of higher level,changing the simplistic, repetitive and inefficient way of original manual management and achieving scientific, systematic and computerized salary management.
