With the restructuring of telecommunications, a situation of tripartite confrontation appears. The full-service operation has become the inevitable trend of development of the major communications carriers.Transmission network, as the underlying network of the major operators, if it has the ability to respond to the entire business operations or not, if it can have a smooth evolution with the upgrade of the existing network system or not and if it can adapt to the future development of the network or not. is the key issue of the access network that needs to be solved soon. During the stage that based on mobile voice services (traditional2G) and low-speed data services, the mobile base stations have a low need of bandwidth. Therefore, the major mobile operators have some effective ways to meet the requirement in the base station return program, for example, setting up the SDH network themselves, using microwave transmission equipment and leasing E1/T1lines(SDH/ATM/FR and so an). But with rapid development of the mobile user number and changes in the communication behaviors, particularly with the advent of the3G age. the demand of the mobile video and data service grows increasingly. It will have a high demand of the bandwidth. The services of the access level is appearing a explosive growth trend either in kind or size. With the development of3G business,VPN. CPN and WLAN, the demands for bearing of3G business focus on high demand of base station bandwidth and the bandwidth of single station is4-8times than the2G base. At the same time, the requirement to the bandwidth of metropolitan area edge layer will reach hundreds of G level in the expected future2to3years and reach T level in3to5years.At present, the voice, VPN and large business customers services are carried on independent of platform. The SDH networks connect to2G base station, PTN networks connect to3G base station, PON networks carry the requirement of customer group and customer premises network, in order to adapt to the stage of3G,4G and LTE development, Qianjiang mobile adopt PTN+OTN and PON+OTN networking way to solve. This paper briefly introduces the PTN, OTN, PON three technology, and bring up the proposal that is OTN+PTN for IP service and OTN+PON for TD service, considerding from the TD and IP service requirement of the China mobile communication group Chongqing limited company in Qianjiang. And according to the actual cable road of Qianjiang mobile, plan and design detailly the network equipment, cable network, equipment configuration business, service sharing, protection, service bearing, the present network equipment cutover. According to the investment of TD-SCDMA and PON service of China mobile in2010and2011, design the network structure detailly, and then implemente in accordance with the plan.After2years, we constructed two core layer OTN network that is the WDM I and WDM II in Qianjiang area, mainly used for carrying SDH service, branch PTN pulling core equipment service, and large particle size data service. And we constructed OTN I and local OTN II the Qianjiang local area, mainly used for carrying the PON equipment service, the future SDH network service and large particle size data service. In addition, we constructed PON network, mainly used for carrying Qianjiang121administrative village broadband service, broadband service of important group and resident network service. There are currently more than500NODE B, Cmnet for large particle size service carried on the OTN+PTN network. Also there are about200VPN and300CPN service carried on the OTN+PON network. During the engineering implementation, some planning principles and typical case are valuble for network planning and construction of Qianjian mobile in the future. Our company is planning the later TD and PON network construction in accordance with the above principle.
