| The defining of decoration style, selection on items, matching of various elements, these are concerns which require very careful consideration in interior soft adornment design process. At the present time, it does not exist a useful resource management system for designers to work with in many soft adornment design companies. This could have a very bad impact on the designers’efficiency as well as the integration of resources within a company. From the perspective of companies and designers, this paper stressed on the necessity of building a luminarie resource management system by introducing the integral design process and evaluating on its main features. Most importantly, this paper has schemed out such system which fulfills the following criteria:showing resources to designers, monitoring project progress by company staff, inquiring on suppliers information and other extra functions.Summarizing users’ requirement and also after the evaluation on the function of system unit, the operating environment has been determined:based on B/S three-tier structure, SQL server is the database and using C# as the language. The general framework consists of five modules:information management, project management, system management, communication zone and supplier management. The main functions of system are:single or multiple condition inquiry on items; perform insertion\deletion\modifying\updating at any time; record the frequency of inquiring; filled with abundant item information which include type of the luminaire, style, color, photo, material, size, supplier and so on; Moreover, designers is able to comment on the item and also find its related project.The establishment of luminaire resource management system could help designers to sourcing items in a more convenient way and at the other hand, it assists company to manage and integrate the resources. This is a meaningful step forward for the long-term development of soft adornment design companies. |
