With the increasing development of the society, computer technology and communication network technology have been rapidly developed. Therefore, there has been a great change in the living environment that people depend on. People’s demand for knowledge has reached an unprecedented height with the trend towards individuation, discipline, diversity and digitization. Disordered information will greatly increase the difficulty of users in obtaining valuable information. As a place of knowledge innovation, information storage, processing and services, library cannot only take itself as the information source or the information provider, but also as the information regulator in order to reduce the users’ time to filter information. Library has the need to build the personalized knowledge service system to meet the needs of users. The implement of personalized knowledge service of library need to depend on the development of the library knowledge management. The personal information service of library need to meet the needs of users, and carry out the professional and personalized service around knowledge. The reinforcement of knowledge management and the development of personalized knowledge service have become one of the hot issues of the innovation research of library. Therefore, the construction of personal knowledge service model of library based on knowledge management is supposed to be the central issue in the library industry. It is also the next development direction for library to pay close attention to develop personalized knowledge service.This paper firstly introduces the background and the significance of this topic and then elaborates the research about knowledge management and personal knowledge service of library at home and abroad and the research ideas and methods. Secondly, it further explains the relationship between the personal knowledge service of library and knowledge management by summarizing the study of the personal knowledge service of library and knowledge management. Furthermore, it separately analyzes the needs for personal knowledge service of library from both the reader’s and library’s point of view. On this basis, it constructs the personal knowledge service of library model based on knowledge management, and shows the overall framework, components, features and service processes of personal knowledge service of library in a better way with a graphical form. Then it explains the implement of personal knowledge service of library from the aspects which are the construction of personalized information service platform, personalized knowledge base, personalized knowledge librarian system and so on. At last, this paper summarizes, proposes the innovation of this paper and further discussed the development of personal knowledge service of library.
