With the rapid development of information technology, mobileInternet has provided people with more and more unprecedented highspeed and convenient service, at the same time, large quantities ofhigh-performance smart phone is becoming more and more popular,wireless mobile applications have penetrated into every aspect of life ofcommon people,and it also changes people’s way of life and workmode.Under this trend, the Android technology also get rapiddevelopment, based on the technology of Android mobile application alsoemerge in endlessly, the Android system has been deeply rooted in thehearts of the people. Due to Android development tool, on the other hand,is based on Java language, that makes the person who is engaged in Javadevelopment can easily hand development based on the Androidapplication, and its development platform is very easy to set up, onlyneed to install some corresponding plug in the Eclipse can do the thingabout Android development, which greatly improve the efficiency of theAndroid application development.In the process of farmland water in some areas of our country, the staff from different departments of irrigation district organization, andwater users can’t send the information to each other in a timelymanner.And it is because of the lag of information transfer, the farmlandwater distribution work can not to be a great inconvenience.Aiming atthis phenomenon, based on the current epidemic of Android, developed aset of irrigation area information management system based on Androidand the Web Services, and realize the irrigation area in the organizationrelated personnel information interaction, thereby effectively improve theefficiency of farmland water distribution.This system mainly consists oftwo parts, the Android mobile terminal and a Web server. The Androidmobile terminal mainly through server provides it the interface to realizethe calling water vote authentication, the query of the user information,the query of farmland and water information,the query of the region’srainfall information,the query of weather information and the query offarmland soil moisture information in the field, to help farmers to buywater operation, user notification, network parameter set and historicaldata view, etc.Web server side is mainly to complete the request andresponse to mobile terminal,database and the design of the business logiclayer, mainly including water vote information authentication information,provide the information query support, accepting image upload, respondto buy water, record the Android mobile terminal operating history, userregistration, user permissions Settings, as well as other operations such as user management.Irrigation area information management system design processinvolves many technology, which including mobile communicationtechnology, the Android technology, Web Services technology, databaseand Hibernate, according to the actual demanding,we make thecombination of them effectively.Add the plug-ins(ADT) in the Eclipsesoftware as a development platform in Android mobile terminal design.But we choose MyEclipse development platform in the Web serverdesign, make full use of MyEclipse Web project in advantage.In softwaredesign part,we use the idea of modularization, use the present popularHibernate framework to connect to the database, for the after the systemupgrade and when we need change the database.Finally this system throwtesting, basically achieved all the function of plan, and the operation issimple, the staff can use it with out need for specialized study.In thispaper, design of irrigation area information management system hasrealized the irrigation water distribution related personnel information inreal-time, it is convenient for the working process of the irrigation waterdistribution operation, improve the efficiency of the farmland irrigation,also simplifies the farmers to buy water, brings the farmers’ realconvenience.
