In Contemporary Chinese Dictionary,media means"The people or things thatmake the relation happen between two sides".Certainly,the changing media makesthe relations between people with themselves,people with others,and people withexternal world change.In the mid twentieth Century, Marshall McLuhan,one famousMedia theorist,remind of in his book Understanding Media that Technology changethe world and people.The development of printing technology and televisiontechnology replaced printing technology made the leading media change,the spreadof information also changed in the mode of transmission,the speed,and the quality.Itinfluenced cognitive style of people.Compared with growing in transition periodbetween old and new media technology,the new generation living in the intenselymediated surroundings,is different from the olds in values and behavior.According tothis understanding,the research found,in modern society,the line of creating,spreading and accepting information is blurred,so Everyone becomes three-in-onerole:creator,communicator and accepter,leading one new reform of human cognizeand behavior.Especially,the teenagers explore,cognize and practice things almost in the wayof media in the mediated surroundings.There are lots of research that proved thewhole society had been in the mediated surroundings.Teenagers in primary andsecondary schools,as millennials,lots of media contact change their growingtrajectory,and also change the traditional view of students,that is influencing thedevelopment of education.Happily,with chinese reform and opening,education isexploring foreign experience.In the early1990s,there were scholars that began to pay close attention toforeign media literacy education.After introducing this concept,the theoreticalresearch was rising in China.Especially after2004,with the works of many scholars such as Bu wei,Lu ye,Bai chuanzhi,Yan huan,Zhang jie,Li yan and so on,theresearch of media literacy education theory heated up.At the same time,someuniversities such as Fudan dan and research institutes setted research teams ordeveloped media literacy education courses for college student who are adults inuniversities,in order to intensive study.We introduced and translated a lot of foreigntheories and courses practice to study their media literacy education system,includingdefinition of media literacy education,course objectives,teaching materials,teachingmethod and more, such as Britain which was the media literacy educationbirthplace,America which is the center of mass culture,Canada which is advanced inmodern media literacy education and so on.In this process,there were more and morescholars who began to think about the media literacy education theory and practice inchinese national conditions.So,from around2008,many primary and secondaryschools in our country were trying the media literacy education course.No matterIndependent course or a course mixed together media literacy and officinal courses,the development of education practice signified the deepening development of ourmedia literacy education in primary and secondary schools.This paper selects some representative course experiments of media literacyeducation practice.By means of widely consulting the research literatures,this papersums up their courses about design idea and practice details and so on.Then,itanalyses them in the view of instructional system design including educationalpurpose,object of study,content of courses,teaching method and so on,in order tofind out general characters about their courses,and to find out shortcomings andproblems.According to the summary and eaducation reality,this paper will discussabout some reasonable and practicable ways to provide reference about the medialiteracy education practice in primary and secondary schools in the future.providereference about the media literacy education practice in primary and secondaryschools in the future....
