In recent years, information technology has been developing rapidly in China, and its results has led to the transformation of daily management and operation mode and the improvement of production efficiency, which laid a solid foundation for developments of the company. Ran Yan Industry and Trading Co. ltd.(Tianjin) developed information system in order to adapt the developments a few years ago. However, due to the limitations of current conditions, the information management system was developed with single functions, intricate operations, and lack of timely follow-up upgrade, which could not meet the acquirements of the developments of the company. So that the company as decided to construct a set of information system with the bidding management as its core, in order to integrate biddings and other businesses in the system to simplify the processes and to improve work efficiency.The system needs to integrate the present business processes and the information expansions. Its core contents are the the bidding process and document management, and its specific functions concludes the approval of bidding process, contact management, financial security management, with sub-functions of enterprise daily office. Therefore, the system would be designed in considerations of future update, correlation of detailed modules, and improvement of independency of the subsystems, in order to improve the flexibility of the information system and to set a firm information foundation for sustainable development of the company.The system uses B/S structure and the development tools of ASP.NET and SQL database. The system works on the basis of the reintegration of the original business process management, make full use of modern information technology achievements, and simplify the company bidding management of the whole process of examination and approval, which meet the acquirements of development of modern companies. Throughout the one-year operation, the system has effectively improved the work efficiency, reduced the operation and maintenance cost, and has brought significant benefits to the company.
