Air compressor is used in metallurgy,machine,chemical engineering,geological mine,electricity and other fields widely,it is the ideal power production equipment and it plays a very important role in the production of the enterprise.The air compressor equipment in modern enterprise faced with how to improve the quality of operational service,to achieve energy saving and consumption reducing,to realize efficient management,in addition,improve the level of automation and informatization for manufacturers of air compressor equipment is becoming more and more important.This paper is mainly research and development the data acquisition system of air compressor, it realized acquisition and processing the parameters of air compressor unit in real-time by introducing computer technology, sensor technology,modern digital signal process technology and communication technology,so as to understand and master the running status of equipment, identify abnormal behave of equipment and timely repair in case of the huge losses by equipment failures.This paper through to analyze the running state and parameters of the air compressor unit including start-stop,loading and unloading,trouble,pressure, temperature, current, main compressed air pressure and flow, main compressed water flow and pressure and so on,using embedded controller and sensor collect equipment real-time operating data. This paper completed the design of data acquisition system of air compressor, the main work includes follows.(1)General design of system.It includes sketch the composition, working principle and characteristics of air compressor system,analysis of the main performance parameters,research several common methods of data acquisition,and finally put forward the whole design schemes.(2)Hardware design of system.In view of the design requirement of hardware, it putsforward the overall design scheme of hardware,meanwhile analyzes and illustrates the acquisition equipment include air compressor controller, main sensor, the main flow meter and so on, and introduces the heterogeneous system data acquisition technology based on OPC.(3)Software design of system.It completed the design of software function,it used serial port communication to achieve the communication between the industrial computer and acquisition equipment,at the same time it solved the parsing and processing of data,and the air compressor control module was designed,the last is the database design and the design of intelligent fault diagnosis.(4)Interface design of system.A PC interface based on Visual Studio 2008 was designed.And it mainly designed the data display interface, curve and report,air compressor control interface,fault and alarm interface.The final debugging results show that the designed scheme effective and feasible.Data acquisition system of air compressor in this paper has a good real-time performance and stability, and it can acquisition, processing and storage the running data of air compressor equipment.And it can control the start-stop,loading and unloading of air compressor through the data gathered and the settings of user parameter.The system has high reliability and expandability is strong, and it can meet the requirements that enterprise need to grasp the working status and the operation parameters of equipment.
