In the production of Jien nickel carbonyl synthesis, the maximum use of the compressor, it plays an important role in the process of the synthesis of the carbonyl group, but at present, the compressor has the problems of backward control mode, low power consumption, low running efficiency and so on. To this end, we need to design a system that can monitor the running state of the compressor, it can comprehensive monitoring the working state of the whole work units and ensure the safe and stable, but also facilitate the operator on the unit control, operation and machine maintenance, improve the efficiency of the production of products, to create greater efficiency for enterprises.Firstly, the working principle of the reciprocating piston compressor is analyzed, the process flow of the compressed gas production is analyzed, and the model of the gas supply system is established. Through the investigation of compression field operation conditions of the unit system, according to the requirements of enterprises, design a set of intelligent monitoring system for compressor set. It is based on the PLC as lower machine responsible for signal acquisition and control, through PROFIBUS field bus to connect field devices; PC as the upper computer is responsible for real-time monitoring, alarm, and so on, through the industrial ethernet connected to host computer management. According to the function of the monitoring system, the hardware is designed.Secondly, through the analysis and research of different control methods, considering the nonlinear characteristics of compressor control system, the fuzzy PID controller is designed for this system. Through the theoretical analysis and simulation experiment, it is proved that the fuzzy PID controller can automatically adjust the pressure of the manifold to ensure that the pressure value of the compressed gas is kept within the range of the setting.Finally, according to the monitoring system to realize the function, using STEP7-V5.3 programming software and WinCC software, the software design of the PLC control system and the software design of the upper computer monitoring system is completed.
