The Design And Implementation Of Teaching And Research Management System For Qujing Normal College

Today in the rapid development of information technology, the use of the network office and information technology to improve the efficiency has penetrated into all walks of life, and information technology plays a vital role in promoting economic and social development. Teaching and research management is a focus of the daily work of Qujing Normal University, and the school-related work is complex and varied, and departments and personnel involved are a lot. Therefore, the information management is very important in university, a school’s teaching and research and academic management’s efficiency largely depends on the information technology.At the technical level of the system’s development, we draw a lot of sophisticated technology architecture used by similar systems, and ultimately determine the MVC development model, B/S (browser/server) system architecture to develop and use the open source and convenient framework SSH (Struts2+Spring +Hibernate3) to design. Basing on security considerations, we use widely and highly secure SQL Server 2012 relational database to store data related to the content of the system.On the functional level of the system, the system has achieved all the functions required at the beginning:teaching research office business function includes viewing notifications, view the file functions, reform digest function. Project report review business function includes completing project, add school/non-school teacher, project submission, my declaration, declare project audit, report project submission, view project approval notification, fill in the assessment, submitted evaluation, view assess, print assessment results. Project management includes completing the task book function, submit an interim progress report function, concluding report submitted, view the list of items, the mission statement auditing, auditing the interim report, concluding report audit function. Achievements business function includes project queries and project view.The research and development of this system is to improve teaching and research management efficiency in Qujing Normal University, it can improve the school’s teaching and research is currently managing situation, so that it can keep pace with the times, in which the school management realize management with network and information. The system will be put into use in the school to change the traditional teaching and research management, no longer rely on a lot of manpower, but to achieve management over the network, greatly reducing the teaching and research management process more convenient to use for school teachers and related personnel, greatly improve office efficiency. And the same it make school management more convenient and save manpower and resources to make the school more focused on improving student services.
