Investigation And Research On Information Literacy Education Of Anhui Province College Libraries

With the popularization of computer technology since the 80s and the development and innovation of information technology since the 90s, people’s mode of production has changed from paying attention to material development to the development of information industry. Information technology become a global social development state of industrialization. Along with the network gradually integrated into people’s life, the industrialization and the deepening reform of economic structure, the global economic patterns are changing. However,at the same time,the the problem appeared, that is in an era of huge information’s mad, how to grasp the value of information, select the information which we need and abandon the useless information.To solve this problem, people living in the modern society should have a good cognition of information literacy. As is known to all, the library is the information resources in colleges and universities, so treated the library as the center and starting point to strengthen the information literacy education of university students can get more professional knowledge support and practical feasibility of the operation. However, although research has long been put on the agenda, college students’information literacy level is still worrying. Along with our country attaching more importance to education and promoted to the first strategic point of view, the number of undergraduate students and graduate students is increasing year by year.The proportion of China’s higher education accounted for is higher and higher. How the students of higher education in the rapid development of information industry today to complete their learning tasks, improve their scientific research ability, undertake the task of scientific research,,the answer is they need have good information literacy.In this paper, several representative universities in Anhui province are treated as investigation object, information literacy as the basic research background, literature, interview survey, survey, mathematical statistics as the method, such as around the using situation of university library and university library in information literacy education for students in the role of a detailed investigation.Although information literacy education has been raised for a long time, it still lack the effect for practical reference, and the writer hope through the investigation and analysis of current situation of colleges and universities in Anhui province, this paper can give some concrete measures for reference. The paper stress the importance of libraries in the information literacy education to strengthen the innovation and change pattern so as to provide reference for how to improve the information literacy education. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is an introduction. It discusses the purpose and significance, research status, research content, research methods and ideas as well as features and innovative points. The second part is an overview of the Information Literacy Education of University Library. It mainly gives an introduction to the meaning of Information Literacy Education of University Library, the importance Information Literacy Education of University Library, and common ways of Information Literacy Education of University Library. The third part is to analyze the three cases of Anhui Province University Library Information Literacy Education. The fourth part is to point out the problems of Anhui Province University Library Information Literacy Education based on survey of the third part. The fifth part is to propose corresponding countermeasures against the problem of Anhui University Library Information Literacy Education. Section 6 concludes with the prospect of the article.
