Practice teaching is the core and features of higher vocational education, which is focused on cultivating and training students’ operating ability and creation ability. But arrangement of the practice teaching courses is inconsistent with the students’ development, social needs and job requirements. The emergence of the practice teaching evaluation system provides reference for the arrangement of practical courses. Current practice teaching evaluation system exists some problems, such as the system is not complete, the scope of subject is too narrow, the index set is not scientific and it lacks feedback. Therefore it is necessary to improve the evaluation mechanism, construct index system, design and development college education practice teaching comprehensive evaluation system, to provide for reference to evaluation teaching quality and motivate the high vocational colleges to improve the practice teaching quality and talent training quality.This paper fist researched and analyzed the background and existing problems of high vocational education teaching evaluation. When the purpose and content of the research has carried, it analyzed the demand of the system, and established the roles, such as staffs, teachers and specialists, students and business experts. It analyzed system management, user management, course management, score management, evaluation plan management, practice teaching evaluation, evaluation results analysis, as well as the reliability scientific and other requirements. Secondly it designed the technical architecture and function architecture, analyzed each function module based on the class diagram and sequence diagram, and described the database. Once again, the paper constructed a scientific practice teaching comprehensive evaluation system, which was divided into practice teaching setting, practice teaching methods, practice teaching process, teachers’ quality, practice teaching effect. Based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), this paper proposed the index of practice teaching evaluation system in stage, and establish the reasonable weight of each index. After consistency check, fuzzy evaluation and normalized processing, it confirmed the computing method of evaluation level and scores. Finally, based on the rich client development framework Vaadin, this article carried on the development and implementation of the practice teaching overall comprehensive evaluation system. It analyzed the techniques used for each business function module, and displayed the implementation effect and part of the code especially of feedback the results of evaluation to the staff and teachers. The system was also tested to find the insufficient and improve in time.The practical teaching comprehensive evaluation system for the vocational education designed and implemented in this paper, comprehensively and scientifically analyses of the practice teaching evaluation subject, evaluation standard, index weight. It can satisfy the business needs of practical teaching curriculum evaluation for common high vocational colleges. The evaluation results can provide important reference for the arrangement of the practice teaching courses and improvement of teaching quality, and can impromote the personnel training quality.
