In recent years, the wide application of the smart cards have hitherto received an unprecedented rapid development. At present, the number of smart cards currently used in China’s telecommunications, social security, public security, taxation, transportation, construction and public utilities and other areas of application have been more than 4 billion. Its application fields are now expanding continually, and the number of issuance has been surged, it can be said that the extensive use of smart cards has being lead all walks of life into an advanced information management model.In the 21st century, with the development and prosperity of cultural undertakings, there has been put forward new requirements for the modernization construction of the museum in order to meet the growing cultural needs of the masses. The museum is an important carrier not only hosting national and ethnic culture, but also showing the development process of civilization, the cultural relic on display is the precious heritage of a nation. Modern Museum are kind of comprehensive buildings with integrated technology that incorporate of preservation and exhibition of cultural relic, also modern office work. The security of cultural relics is the top priority in the intelligent design of museum venues. With the rapid development of technologies of smart card and Internet of Things, the modern museum venues in intelligent design are more and more broad and in-depth. Information management system based on smart card can provide safe, reliable, efficient and convenient solutions for the museum in security and integrated business management.Museum Information management system based on smart card has many management advantages, its system function, which constitute by the access control management system, vehicle management system, consumption and attendance management system, as well as the RFID collection management system, can meet the various types of security and integrated service management requirements of museum. And, with the new type construction concept of intelligent Museum, RFID collection management system based on RFID technology can also provide for the protection of cultural relics more appropriate solving measures.The source of this paper’s thesis comes from the design and development project of the information management system based on smart card of the intelligent ELV project of Shandong Museum. This paper studies the principle of smart card and RFID technology, as well as the application in the intelligent building. According to the use requirements of the museum, this paper design and develop the information management system based on smart card of Shandong Museum. The system involves one-card service system using smart card as terminal, which including access control subsystem, parking management, attendance management subsystem and consumer management subsystem, and RFID collections management system using RFID tags for intelligent terminal. In, According to the current more advanced and popular identification technology, products, and equipment, this paper has accomplished the design of network architecture, hardware and software functional of the information management system based on smart card specially suitable for museum. This thesis also made the research analysis focused on the access control system which is the most important part of the museum’s security management, and the collection management system which is the main business requirements to the museum, and then put forward detailed design of the system function. This paper had studied and analyzed data security during reading and writing process of smart cards and RFID tags as application Terminals of the entire system, used multiple encryption algorithms to enhance security of the system terminals. At the same time, for the network design of the system framework, this papter had made detailed analysis of the characteristic, advantages and disadvantages between the current two main types of networking technology which are TCP/IP communication and RS485 communication mode, put forward the design to solve the actual needs of the project by using hybrid networking mode, and made improvement of the stability and instantaneity of the network communication of the system.The paper concludes with the direction of improvement in the future of the needs of the museum building intelligent construction.
