The Internet of things(IOT) on the Internet is based on the extension and expansion of the client to any object in order to achieve a network of information exchange and communication, applications in the transportation, manufacturing and logistics, security and public security and other fields more and more widely. In the IOT, Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) technology is the key technology to realize the Internet of things. RFID technology is an automatic identification technology, which uses radio signals to achieve non-contact transmission of information, achieve the purpose of object recognition. In the RFID system, all kinds of electronic-tag and reader are an important component of a system. The continous development and widely application of RFID technology, greatly facilitate the daily production and life of the people, but RFID system is an open wireless system, in each link of electronic-tag reader-writer and network, data are possible hidden safety problems, the safety issue has always been the concern, how to deal with the new problems in the IOT under the condition of public security, it should be pay great attention to.This paper describes a design process of special equipment for smart card based on RFID technology, this equipment is positioned in the public security field, rather than the ordinary civilian products. Different with the general reader, this special equipment supports multi-mode operation, automatic identification, remote reading and active emulation, which is specialized in the field of public security technology to prevent the development of a technology to counter equipment.The special smart card equipment includes a remote reading equipment and handheld equioment. In the specific design process, firstly from the principle analysis of the low frequency system, combined with the characteristics of EM4100 card, T5557 card and the internal structure and equipment used, to determine the function of the target and the technique index of special smart card equipment, and the module decomposition from the design point of view. Secondly, around each functional module design, through a detailed analysis of the data read and write, data storage, data interaction, active emulation, power management module hardware and software design process, to implement all functions of the target specific smart card equipment, and for the functional verification and performance test of a remote reading equipment and handheld equioment. Finally discussion on some problems encountered in the process of design, and puts forward the improvement design.At present, the special smart card equipment has formed the product, and has been applied in actual combat, and some methods in system design have been proved in practice. Of course, a product needs to be constantly upgraded and improved according to the change of technology development and application requirements, this is the power and the direction of research.
