TAW is a large-scale machinery manufacturing company. The company expands production in recent years, recruits employees, and increases the sales outlet, which puts forward more requirements on mechanical processing, at the same time, the management of the personnel is also required a great deal of improvement. Therefore, facing the huge change of management informatization, establish a set of intelligent performance appraisal system is becoming the urgent problems of the company. Performance appraisal is that company evaluates employee’s performance (the quantity and quality of work and social benefits, etc.), work ability and attitude (including character) in the process of work, and judge whether the employee match the requirement of their jobs by the evaluation result. Its purpose is to confirm the employee’s working achievement, improve employee’s work, in order to improve the work efficiency and management benefit, so as to improve the competitiveness of the company.Taking TAW company for reference, combining the actual situation of the company’s management, using the object-oriented thought, based on ASP.NET and SQL Server technology, we design and implement the performance appraisal system. The functions are partitioned according to modules, including index library management, performance evaluation, performance analysis, personnel management, comprehensive query and system management. Estimators can evaluate employees in the company in this system, and view the history of assessment. The staff of human resource can view the assessment result analysis and the growth stage of a certain staff, in order to grasp the employee’s performance and to improve them. System administrator has the supreme authority to this system, this role can not only manage the index library, departments, offices and users, but also assign different permissions for different users. It is conducive to the management of the whole system and the supervision of performance appraisal.Recently, TAW has started the test run of the system. As it should be, this system has got high praise from the users. There is no doubt this system has provided a set of valid and scientific intelligent manage plan. After adopting this system, all the employees have shown their enthusiasm and this improve the work efficiency of Human Resources Department much or a lot. Both the management work of the Human Resources and the job performance of the employees have been promoted. This change has built a strong foundation to promote the competitiveness of the company.
